Curt Havens
My construction background is quite extensive and goes back more than 40 years. I am a third generation contractor raised in Marblehead Massachusetts, which is a small sea coast town just north of Boston.
After graduating from Arizona State University with a Bachelor of Science degree in marketing, I have spent the better part of the last 30 years using my vast construction experience in a variety of applications. I have been a certified home inspector, general contractor and television host of a national home improvement show called “Home Improvement Magazine”. I was one of the pioneers of home improvement television in the late 80’s and early 90’s. The success of the show landed me a guest expert opportunity on the OPRAH WINFREY SHOW in 1992. I am a contributing writer to Ahwatukee Magazine, featured guest on numerous valley television programs, and talk radio guest expert….endless professional credits.
I have worked as a landscape designer & builder for more than 12 years. In 2004 I started my own company, Outside Living Concepts, to streamline the design and build process. I truly look to provide the very best when it comes to customer service, contracting knowledge, and I absolutely love using my construction background, business degree, and creativity as a landscape designer to help residents of the valley bring their wish list from dream to reality. Todd Comin: Senior Design & Build Consultant
Todd brings more than eighteen years of practical Design and Build experience to the OLC team. He has designed and managed landscape construction projects from the very small to multi-million dollar model home complexes for Pulte and Toll Brothers. He has employed his talents teaching new designers in the industry at two of the largest firms in the Phoenix area. He brings this background to every client interaction along with a unique sensibility that allows him to tailor each project to your specific needs, whether contemporary or traditional, kid friendly or adult sanctuary.
Tim Leichtnam
Tim Leichtnam: Senior Design & Build Consultant
Tim is a Wisconsin Native who moved to Arizona in 2002 and graduated with his second degree in Design. He has 10 years of Landscape Design & Build experience and more than 15 years of Architectural Design. He has a great sense of what the customer wants and provides custom Auto-Cad drawings that will help his clients get a great visualization of what can be. Tim has the unique ability of being a great listener and delivering a product that meets his clients’ needs within their budget. He oversees all his work personally once construction has started and works closely with the homeowner to provide a level of customer service that is second to none…simply a great designer and project manager!
